IBMA is one of few trade organizations today that specifically hones in on the Business Music Industry and related products.  Anyone in this business will surely be missing out by not participating in the organization's programs.  As an Affiliate Member supplier, I have seen many beneficial programs provided for the business owners over the years. 

IBMA continually strives to provide the best possible seminars and programs at each convention.  One of most important walkaways from is the ability to interact with all members and glean new bits of information to help everyone in their business.  In the last couple of years, this has grown and the passion for the business stands out. 

The leadership has recently been revamped and that is going to be very dynamic for the group.  IBMA has begun an aggressive program to grow the membership and that will only serve to make it a more dynamic and impactful trade organization.   

It is important, especially in this fast paced business environment to have a sounding board that has "been there, done that" in all areas of the business ranging from sales, marketing, accounting, finance, products, vendors, etc.!

All Members of IBMA share their experiences so that we business owners/operators can make informed decisions and avoid costly mistakes.

Sound Products, Kansas City has been a member of IBMA since our inception 18 years ago.  As a startup business, we were new to the industry and to the business world.  I was fortunate to meet several seasoned dealers from across the country at the IBMA meetings.  Several have served as mentors to me over the years and their guidance put me on the right path for growing a successful business. 

Being involved in IBMA gives me the opportunity to meet dealers from all over the country.  We rely on them when we need subcontract installation for our national accounts.  I also visit with several of them on a regular basis to share business ideas and discuss business trends. 

The programs within IBMA have proven to be very helpful over the years, but the most important aspect is the network of dealers who have shared their stories, ideas and lessons and have become my friends.
