Here's What To Expect From An Association Designed Specifically For Your Industry
You'd Be Lucky To Have It This Good Back Home...
Listed below are just a few of the very special benefits in being a Member of IBMA. If you like what you see, fill out the application at the bottom.

Web Site: "What are you talking about? I'm on the website now." Yes you are, but there are several key areas that cannot be accessed without a password. Each member has their own personal password.

Newsletter: Most Associations have a newsletter telling how the Directors Golf Tournament turned out and other usless information. IBMA's newsletter is different! It is electronic and chock full of real world tips that you can use right away to help your business make money! It gives you valuable information you would not otherwise have.

Help: With all the names of the Directors, Officers and Members at your fingertips, you can get a quick answer to a question right away, or ask how others do things without going through a bureaucracy.

Office: After you have been a member in good standing for one year, you are eligible to run for office (but only if you want to).

Other Stuff: There are many other benefits, too numerous to mention here, like an Expo/Convention ever year to keep you up to date, free website design for your company etc.

Membership List: You will have access and Affililiate Members along with their contact information, including the Company Name, Principle Contact, Address, City, State and Zip, Phone and fax, Email and Web address.

IBMA National Service Network: You can easily find trusted members that you can contract with to do work out of your area.

Membership in the IBMA is by acceptance only:
Follow the steps below. Your application will be considered by the current Board of Directors, which is elected by the membership at each annual meeting.
If you know someone on the Board, feel free to give them a call. But understand up front that the Boards decision is final. If you are NOT accepted for some reason, you must wait one year before applying again. Don't be surprised if you receive a call asking for more or clarifying information.
Membership in the IBMA is an endorsement that your company is reputable and in high standing in your community. And it will be verified. If you have a poor record with the Better Business Bureau or a string of unhappy customers or don't pay your suppliers on time, avoid disappointment and don't waste your time applying.

If you wish to apply for membership in IBMA and agree with the above information, here is what will happen:

You must complete an application. You can do this online by Clicking the link below.

IBMA will advise you that your application has been received.

Be prepared to answer questions if you get a call from IBMA.

Within 30 days (usually less) you will receive a notice confirming or denying your acceptance in IBMA.

Send IBMA your check (or credit card number) for dues along with your application.

IBMA will advise you that your payment has been received and if accepted, you will receive a New Member packet.

At the point you receive the New Member packet, you are officially accepted as a Member of IBMA and your check will be cashed or your credit card will be charged. The packet will contain much more information, like the bylaws and your password to the Web Site.

If your application is not approved, your check will be returned uncashed or your credit card will not be charged.
